STATUS: A nobody? And he wouldn't have it any other way.
REPUTATION: --
HOOKS:
• The struggle between his demon side and his humanity will once again be very real, especially since he doesn't want to terrify the entire village, while still being what he is. The real struggle will come if/when he's actually put up against people and not the monsters he's used to.
• Friends are a novelty, but he needs them, especially the kind that will babysit him when he's drunk so that he isn't going around just randomly proposing marriage to people, cattle, and household cleaning supplies.
• Also, friends because now that he can get a tattoo he will make poor choices, someone should stop him from getting a bird tattooed on a place he might regret.
• Speaking of poor choices Dante is an unreliable carrier of any kind of currency and will probably give 90% of anything and everything away.
• Spar with him as well, he doesn't fight people on principle, but sparring with people is not only fun for him but it will allow him to get the measure of himself again. His body ain't what he used to be so he needs the measures for keeping it sharp.
• Find music buddies and someone who isn't too embarrassed to be seen dancing with him.
• Dante does enjoy reading adult literature, playing billiards, darts, card games, games that involve challenge or risk of some sort etc.
• He's going to figure out a way to incorporate Devil May Cry into his new life somehow.

Abilities & Skills

STRENGTH: Dante's physical strength is limited to extent of what a man of his size, weight class, and muscle-mass is capable of doing, but magical energy enables him to reach peak human capabilities. Essentially his overhead lifting ability would be around 500lbs, his deadlifting limit would be around 1,000lbs, and his leg-press capacity would be around 2,200lbs. This peak human condition comes with a few caveats, this first caveat is that it is exhaustible and requires Dante take breaks. The second caveat is that this magical energy that fuels this peak human strength can be disrupted by anything that can disrupt or interfere with magic such as any kind of dispel abilities or magebane abilities. It would allow him to go toe-to-toe with qunari and engage in successive battles until he's exhausted the ability or something interferes with it. This ability will definitely be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
SPEED: Dante has the average sprinting speed of an athlete at around 15mph and 8mph at a distance.
AGILITY: Dante's agility falls within the range of what the normal person with the appropriate training would be able to achieve. Instead of gravity defying acrobatics he's able to move in the way an individual who has trained in competitive parkour can move. His handiness and dexterity with weaponry will still be accurate and precise, but requires concentrated effort. He won't be able to shoot or slap a target out of the air while in mid flip money for jam.
STAMINA: Unlike his Devil Trigger form Dante will have more staying power, Dante would be able to cover a lot of ground over the course of a day, but he would be subject to the rules of three. He wouldn't be able to go more than three minutes without air, three days without water, or three weeks without food. He is limited by the requirements of the human body and if he's injured his endurace would be compromised.
SENSES: While Dante would normally be able to smell his enemies and sense an attack from a mile off, this ability will be reduced to complex spatial awareness that a warrior would have and the general ability to intuit someone's fighting intent to a reasonable extent.
DURABILITY/HEALING: What Dante is able to heal from is directly related to the amount of damage he can take so these two attributes work in tandem with one another. Dante will not be able to heal severe wounds or reattach severed limbs. His healing capacity can be exhausted so one small wound would heal fine, but consecutive small wounds would take longer to heal or would stop healing completely until he's had the time to rest. He can recover from one would-be-fatal wound per day. If he receives enough injuries in a short amount of time he would succumb to death. He is not immune to the blight or red lyrium.

DEVIL ARMS: Dante's sword will have the ability to transform into a spear and while he is using his Devil Trigger the weapon will be imbued with lightening, fire, and ice attributes similar to the effects that runes have on weapons.

DEVIL TRIGGER: While Dante might be flippant about the use of his Devil Trigger he will learn quickly enough about the fears and taboos placed on the concept of demons in Thedas. This is not something he'll use routinely in front of anyone, it's not something he uses a great deal normally, only when he's taking a fight seriously. This will be his ace up his sleeve and he'll feel people out first before sharing this information. Odds are this ability will be reserved for fighting other demons or darkspawn or reserved for desperate situations.
STRENGTH: Dante's physical strength is doubled that of his granted peak physical strength while he's in this state.
SPEED: Dante will be able to move at Fade Step levels of speed and at the distance Fade Step permits.
WINGS: Dante's Devil Trigger form does possess wings and while he will not be able to fly, they will enable him to glide/hover.
STAMINA: Dante's Devil Trigger will have a similar effect on him as the Power of Blood ability in Dragon Age Origins, while it gives him a boost in power it comes at the cost of his own personal health. So, his staying power in this form will be incredibly limited and he will only be able to use it for approximately about a minute at a time with an extended recovery period between each use. He would need the time to heal himself or he would need healing after the fact.

NAME: Citrine
CONTACT: See above for my Plurk, but if you need to get ahold of me quickly PM me.
ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: I operate in CST either in the evenings or in the mornings, but if I'm feeling really motivated or if my ADHD brain just will not shut down, I may respond at random hours of the night. I move at a medium pace usually.
BRACKETS/PROSE: I can do either or, usually I will match whatever I am presented with. Depending on my mental facilities I might make longer or shorter posts, it's not a commentary on you, it's a utility thing. I will always try to be thorough.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: I have thick skin, but if something does offend me I will address it respectfully.

In Character

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Dante's not used to this sort of thing and he tries to avoid it when he can simply because he feels awkward and out of place with people. There's a private side to him that does want to fit in and engage, that does want to protect. He's not at all above showing a gentler side of his nature, one that is very open to receiving and giving physical affection to those he comes to care about even if he is flippant. If he likes you then he's a ride or die for life, to the point where he'll pay off all of your debts and set you up if you need it.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: This is essentially what Dante excels at, Dante is competitive and he has a natural inclination towards fighting. He doesn't go out of his way to pick fights and he does have reservations about fighting people (humans, elves, dwarves, and qunari) and would essentially be more comfortable pointing his blade at demons and darkspawn.
RELATIONSHIPS: Dante is down for friends, drinking partners, sparring partners etc. Relationships in the romantic sense, this is something he is notoriously bad at probably due to his own inferiority complex where he's not a human, but he's not a demon so he doesn't belong anywhere and doesn't belong with anyone. He would be just as cautious in Thedas, but I am open to easing him into something should he come to trust someone enough to feel that sense of belonging.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: I'm down for this if your character has these kinds of abilities or if they are, you know, Cole. It would require a lot of discussion because Dante's past is riddled with trauma and he's half-demon so approach with caution.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: In spite of sustaining himself on a steady diet of pizza, strawberry sundaes, and Jack Daniels like the hedonist that he is, Dante is remarkably healthy. Though it could have something to do with demonic heritage.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Dante rarely shows it when he's triggered, he might pop off at the idea of hurting people that are innocent and defenseless, he's more compassionate than he lets on.

Out of Character

BACKTAGGING: Yes. Feel free to contact me any time if it seems I've dropped off of a thread, odds are I just got busy and my brain has made a right turn at Alburquerque instead of a left turn. You know how it be.
THREADHOPPING: As long as the thread is not private and all parties involved are okay with it.
FOURTHWALLING: Hard pass.
NOT INTERESTED IN: There's very little I won't consider, but if it's a subject you might think is offensive then you can run it by me first. Also consider this your opt-out as well, if there are any scenarios you're not interested, or if you have any thoughts, feelings, or concerns let me know.

First Impression

VISUAL: The impression someone would get from him on sight is that he has this aloof kind of confidence about him, like shit couldn't stick to him even if it tried. And then you get to know him and you realize he's an embarrassment to nature.
AURAL: See "get me out of this hellish birthday party." If Dante ever reveals his demon form to you his voice will be a little bit different it's almost mechanical.
OLFACTORY: What does Dante smell like? Blood, sweat, and terminal disappointment probably.
DEMEANOUR: The four horsemen of the apocalypse: flippant, cocky, reckless, and a little bit arrogant.
